Some Fast Pass Suggestions!!!

While I was at Walt Disney World this last time, I learned several things. Really, all you have to do is ask a Cast Member, (all Disney Resort/Park employees are called Cast Members), and each one has a wealth of information they are ready to impart.
MOST IMPORTANT!!!!
When it is time to select your Fast Passes for your trip, start with THE LAST DAY you will spend at the park. A very well-informed cast member told me about this. Here is why:
So, my family and I are going to Walt Disney World on December 22 of this year! (Insert Happy Squeal!). Sixty days before we check in, we are able to make ALL of our Fast Pass choices for the entire trip!!!! So, on October 23, we will be able to make our Fast Pass choices for December 22 THROUGH 28. Does this make sense?
Now think about it. There are people who are arriving December 20 and leaving December 26. They were able to make their fast pass choices on October 21 and some of them are on the same days we will be trying to get on October 23.
So, when I log onto My Disney Experience, the first date I am going to select will be December 27. I will choose Animal Kingdom and immediately, (hopefully), select Avatar Flight of Passage. Then I will select December 26 and hope to get Hollywood Studios Slinky Dog Ride.
While we were at the parks last week, I saw how this really does work. I was able to get last minute fast passes for most other rides, but the BIG, most popular ones, (for the time being), were NEVER available.
SECOND, when you select Fast Passes, you can only select them for one park. (Makes sense, really). Try to get the times as close together and as close to your arrival time as possible. Once you have used all three of your fast passes, you may add more. You cannot add a Fast Pass until your original three have been used OR you cancel the ones that haven't been used.
FINALLY, several rides offer a "Single Rider" option. If you are okay riding with a stranger, this is a great way to get on that ride sooner. There is no guarantee that you will get in really fast, but, most likely you will. We did this A LOT at California Adventureland's Cars Land rides!!! (At Disneyland).
